CNC machined barrel lug notch for superior lock up compared to the Glock OEM slide lock. Low profile that does not protrude beyond frame which also allows for no holster wear. Made from precision cnc machined 416 heat treated stainless steel for a lifetime of use. Fits all Glock models gen1-5Â except G42/43

EXCELLENT!!!
I have had a problem with field stripping my G45 due to the factory slide lock being too close to the frame as I have a partial amputation of my index finger that I have always used to manipulate this plate. I had to lock my slide into a wooden vice and use plastic plates to manipulate that lock. This new extended plate is exactly what I needed and I NO LONGER have a problem removing my slide!! I am Extremely happy with this plate!!!!!!!!!

Day and night.
I'm a 77 y/o retired LEO who just purchased a LEO turn-in Glock G22 that apparently has seen a LOT of takedowns. The slide lock pawls were extremely worn, making it difficult to take down the weapon. After installing this new fixture, take-down is literally a snap. Shipment was very quick and fit was perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone with a takedown problem.

Just enough to get good leverage
I was concerned how "extended" this would be, but it's just enough to get good leverage so I don't break a nail. Hey - women think about stuff like that :o) Super easy to replace, although RYG could really post a link to a vid that would show how to do it, especially for the different generations. Thank goodness for YouTube.

This thing is just money well spent. On my G22, it was a little difficult to get hold of the factory slide lock. This one makes take-down super easy. I have been thinking about building a 9mm Glock, will certainly put one of these in it.

Made My Life Easier
RYG extended Slide Lock is one of the best upgrade you can do to your glock, it makes it super easy pulling down the lever due to longer teeth.

Slide Lock
I have a Glock 17 Gen 5. Trying to break this gun down for cleaning with the original slide lock was extremely hard for me to do. I had a hard time getting both sides to come down evenly. I bought the RYG extended slide lock and this works great. It makes it much easier to grasp and pull down the slide lock without ripping out your fingernails. This might be the most useful mod for this gun I have purchased.
