GLOCK introduces their first ever “Crossover” pistol, which combines the best features of the Glock 17 and the Glock 19. A full size frame with a compact slide that was developed for the military and functions well as an everday pistol. The frame is a coyote color with the first ever factory colored slide. The slide is nPVD coated and has glock steel night sights installed. The glock 19x comes with a standard 17-round magazine and two 17+2-round extended magazines along with a coyote-colored pistol case.
I had to install an adjustable rear sight to get POI at POA. It was 3 inches low at 7 yards out of the box. It shoots very tight groups at POA now. I changed the trigger connector to a 3.5 lb and installed an extended takedown lever. It's one of my favorites now.
I have many glocks and just really wanted this one. Great feeling gun. Shoots great a little to the left and low . Heard mixed reviews about ammo usage . I shot steel, aluminum casing, brass, and some Russian cheap ammo in it straight out of the box. No stove pipes or jams like all the other stories. It does the job I bought it for it shoots anything I put in it.
I've taken my 19X to the range 3 times. I installed a Ghost ultimate 3.5 trigger connector after the 1st trip. The night sights are nice, but I prefer 6 O'clock sight picture and the 3 dot picture must be used to shoot true with these factory sights. I like the looks and matching magazines. Overall it handles well and fits my big hands.
