Note: Trijicon HD XR™ Night Sights are not compatible with the Glock® MOS pistol platform. Trijicon Bright & Tough™ Night Sights for Glock® Suppressor height sights should be used. The Trijicon HD XR™ Night Sights were specifically designed with the ever evolving challenges of law enforcement agencies in mind. Building on the features of the current HD™ Night Sights, the Trijicon HD XR™ night sights are for the next level of advanced target identification and engagement at increased distances. A thinner front sight post allows shooters to have a larger field of view which further enhances the ability to identify targets, expedite engagements and see location of hits on target at longer distances. Pistol shooters that need the advantage of a more precise engagement in any light can count on the Trijicon HD XR™ Night Sights. Green tritium lamps are warranted for 12 years from date of manufacture.

    A Good Purchase

Night sight are everything they to claimed to be. They work indefinitely at night; I also reasoned it would be more likely to have to use a pistol at night then in the day time, so a good set of night sights seemed to be a necessity . One thing I found with the factory Glock 29 sights is I could not easily interpreter where I wanted the bullet to land vs where is should land, these solved the problem. I can keep tighter groups farther out with these sights; which is another thing I thought might be important is engaging targets at 15-20+ Meters, even know statistically I would be shooting something less then 3 Meters away (or so I am told). However these definitely help to equalize matters to my advantage. Also to consider is if your front sight is yellow and you aim at a target with a light source close behind, the front sight starts to get washed out due to the light source having a color closer to yellow or white. At night time with the front being yellow as well as the rear the front becomes harder to keep focused for me. I think if could do it again I would have got the front sight in RED.
