The RockYourGlock reduced pound magazine catch spring for the Glock cuts the magazine catch weight in half for quicker mag drops and less resistance during magazine swaps. The reduced weight spring allows shooters to depress the magazine catch without requiring as much pressure to allow the shooter to stay on target during magazine swaps and increase the speed of the magazine changes. The stock weight magazine catch spring is approximately 5lbs and the RYG reduced pound magazine catch brings the weight down to approximately 2.5lbs. Fits all Glock models.

RYG Reduced Tension Magazine Catch Spring
I got tired of the fight with a stock version of the Macazine Release. In the Gen 1-3 the few oversized Magazine Releases has either a "snap together" or "Bolt On" Oversized "Button". This works very well.

reduced tension mag catch spring
Does exactly what it purports. A very useful modification to a Glock used in competition, and/or for persons with age related loss of muscle strength. Simple to install.

This will go in ALL my Glock pistols
Title says it all, it’s that good of an upgrade!! This is a great upgrade. Inexpensive, easy to do (I’m a gunsmith but anyone can do it, promise) and helps with magazine reloads so very much. Thank you & good day

Not bad!
It is exactly what it claims. It noticeably reduces the effort needed to depress the mag release. Still have to change positions to press it though.

Perfect
Just the perfect amount of weight. Enough to make a difference, but not too much to worry about accidental mag release. Even carrying IWB, I couldn’t get the mag to accidentally release. Installed this and the RYG extended mag release and never looked back.

mag catch spring
This was exactly what I needed. when i searched for it I was not sure anything would be out there. Most the extended catches stick way to far off the side of the gun for me. So my options were to grind some material off the frame of the gun to create more relief, or to try the lighter spring. The spring still feels firm to my hands so, It does not seem to have increased the risk of the mag falling out by accident for every day carry. It only cost $5 so the risk of trying this modification to see if it worked for me was very low. It certainly paid off. My Glock handles much better with this installed.

Good Purchase
The spring works as intended and makes the magazine release noticeably lighter.

Catch and Release Spring
It’s strong enough to confidently catch, and light enough to release more easily!
