This unit installs in the bottom rear cavity of the frame utilizing a friction fit for retention. Fits Gen 4 and 5 model 26, 27, 33, and 39. Allows for use of factory interchangeable backstraps. Helps keep debris out of the magazine well.

Back strap insert from Pearce
Works great to keep lint, dirt and various other types of crap out of the grip. When you order this - make sure you're ordering the one you need! I ordered the wrong one and could not get my back strap extension to fit (Gen 4) and had to order another one. Otherwise, no worries here.
